Feed The Kids : A Summer Feeding Program

Hunger doesn’t take vacation.

Feed the Kids is a program of Harvest which provides fresh produce during the summer months to children in need. The program serves a maximum of 600, rain or shine, each week during summer break. Participants arrive to receive fresh produce once a week during the ten weeks of summer break from June 5 through August 7.

Weekly Produce Packages may include, but is not limited to, combinations of the following:

  • Apples
  • Bananas
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Oranges
  • Potatoes
  • Broccoli
  • Grapes

How Can You Help?

Donate Now

Make a monetary contribution of just $35, which will provide fresh produce for one participant each week of the summer. All monetary contributions are tax deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) IRS registered* charity.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteer once a week for one hour. Multiple positions available including: sorting, packing and distributing.
