Newcomer Club of Citrus County Donates Food and Funds to Support Children Facing Hunger

Citrus County Blessings extends its sincere appreciation to the Newcomer Club of Citrus County for their generous support of local children and families experiencing food insecurity.

Through a successful community food drive and fundraising effort, members of the Newcomer Club donated 857 pounds of food and contributed $1,300 to help support Citrus County Blessings’ programs. These donations will help provide nutritious food to children throughout Citrus County who rely on the organization’s services each week.

Citrus County Blessings was also honored to attend a recent club luncheon to share information about the organization’s mission, programs, and the impact community support has on children facing hunger.

The generosity demonstrated by the Newcomer Club reflects the power of community members coming together to create meaningful change. Their commitment to serving others will help ensure that more local children have access to the food they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

Citrus County Blessings is grateful for the partnership and support of the Newcomer Club of Citrus County and all those who contributed to this successful effort on behalf of the children we serve.
